Product Name: Chromium nitrate
CAS No.: 7789-02-8
Molecular formula: Cr(NO3)3.9H2O
Molecular weight: 400.148
Physical and chemical properties: Chromium nitrate has anhydrous and various hydrates. The anhydrous is a light green powder. The common nonahydrate is a purple monoclinic crystal. It dissolves in its own crystal water at 66.3°C and boils and decomposes at 125.5°C. Hydrated chromium nitrate weathers in the air, loses part of the crystal water, and is easily deliquescent. Chromium nitrate nonahydrate is easily soluble in water, acid, alkali, ethanol and acetone.
Uses: Used to prepare other inorganic and organic chromium compounds, prepare catalysts and carriers, used as corrosion inhibitors and mordants, and used in glass industry and ceramic glaze.
Packing: Chromium Nitrate Nonahydrate·Packing is 25kg plastic bag lined woven bag, or according to customer requirements.
Technical parameters: Q/YLB-2005-23
